Floating Thermal Insulating Blankets

WE NO LONGER OFFER THERMAL BLANKETS!  Rhtubs.com is sorry to announce that we have discontinued offering Thermal Blankets of any kind.  We simply have not been happy with the quality of the available material for these blankets and do not want our customers to be unhappy with their purchase.  Until we can find an acceptable replacement for the Thermal Blankets we will no longer offer them.

    I’ve ordered 2 thermal blankets from these guys in 4 years – LOVED the first one – HATE the newest one! First one lasted 3 years. Thick and durable. Barely faded. It was large enough I could cut it to custom fit (I prefer to keep the blanket on top of the acrylic tub so I cut to the tubs outside dimension – traps the heat and keep condensation off the cover better.) Finally did tear at the end of 3 years so I ordered another one. The quality has gone way down. This is so much thinner. The foam started fading within a few months and tore at 3 months. The sad thing is they kept the price of this thinner cheaper blanket the same as the better quality blanket. I sent them an email last year noting my concerns and never got a response.

      Thank you April for your comments regarding your thermal blanket issue. We are always trying to improve our products and services but sometimes we find that the newer improved version are anything but improved. In the case of this thermal blanket it does appear that the material isn’t as substantial as the older material, we are now looking at better options for our thermal blanket material. Your feedback on the current product is very much appreciated.

    I need to replace one. What’s the word on changing back to better quality?

      Thank you for your inquiry Jenny, we haven’t found a better material than the one currently being offered as of yet.
